Pet-250 Compartment Separation Technology
Each PET-250 unit comes with four basket sections, each with bottom floors and four slots for inserting dividers. The unit also comes with three extender tubes, which have the same outer appearance as the baskets but do not contain a bottom floor.
If the user would like to use the equipment for a very large pet, or a communal process, the user simply places the bottom basket (with bottom floor) into the unit, then places three extender tubes (without bottom floors) to create a large, tall containment basket for the pet(s). The variations in compartment configuration are nearly endless.
♦ Capacity: 1 to 250 lb (min—max)
♦ Cycle Time: 20 hours for segregated/ communal cycles 8-20 hours for a single pet (size-dependent)
♦ Up to 16 compartments (four basket levels, each with four optional compartments)
♦ User determines the size of the individual compartments
♦ User selects the size of the cycle (low, med, high)
♦ Can process a single-pet cycle

Single-Pet
The PET-400 dividers can be adjusted to accommodate any size of pet. The dividers can be completely removed to process a very large pet or communal cycle. A combination cycle can be processed where select pets are placed in private compartments, while other pets share a communal space.
Pet-400 Compartment Separation Technology
Start the process, and leave! Users may run a full level or low level cycle The average daily labor per cycle (load, unload, process bone remains for return) is 1.5 hours
♦ Capacity: 20 to 400 lb (min—max)
♦ Cycle Time: 20 hours for segregated/ communal cycles 12-20 hours for a single pet (size-dependent)
♦ Up to 14 compartments (two basket levels, each with seven optional compartments)
♦ Optional mini-compartments give up to 24 possible compartments
♦ User determines the size of the individual compartments
♦ User selects the size of the cycle (low or high)
♦ Can process a single-pet cycle

Large Capacity Systems are ideal for private horse cremations and/or large volumes of pet mortalities (high volume crematories, animal shelter contracts, etc.). The addition of our compartmentalized basket system allows for the capability of segregated cycles. Mobile systems are ideal for co-op/shared equipment use, services provided on-site, or on-site disease response to avoid
transporting infected mortalities.

Frequently Asked Questions How does alkaline hydrolysis work? Alkaline hydrolysis is essentially an accelerated version of what takes place during natural decomposition. A combination of gentle water flow, temperature, and alkalinity is used to accelerate the natural course of tissue hydrolysis. At the end of the process the body has been returned to its basic building blocks, dissolved in the water. Remember - the bodies of our beloved pets are over 60% water to begin with! Similar to cremation, the only solid remains are the mineral ash of the bones. Is there an ash to return to the family as there is with cremation? Yes. "Ash" is returned to the family in the same manner as it is with cremation, but it is in the form of calcium phosphate. The ash is lighter in color because there is no carbon discoloration from burning. Are the bone remains safe to handle? Yes. The bone remains (calcium phosphate) are 100% safe, pathogen and disease free. The Bio-Response system rinses and cools the bones as part of the automated process. They are safe to handle with bare hands immediately after the process. The bones do not require a cooling time prior to handling, but since this is a water process they will require a drying time before they can be processed for return to the family. Does the system require supervision while in operation? No. Once the user has initiated the cycle from the touch screen, the system will run and complete the entire cycle automatically. The user may return at a convenient time to collect the rinsed bone remains. Are there any major or long term maintenance items? This system can be used for many years without any major maintenance items. There is no equivalent to the major re-bricking maintenance of flame crematories. How long does installation take? If the utilities are in place, installation will take less than one day.
