Civil wedding ceremony

The set-up for the Civil Ceremony, depending on the equipment

and place chosen has a cost that varies between € 250.00

and € 500.00, according to customer requirements.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Up to 7 days after confirmation - 25 %

Up to 2 weeks before the event - 25 %

Up to the event’s day - 50 %

Final Notes: All services not mentioned above, will be billed according to clauses in the contract previously signed between the parties.

Warranties of Service

Pestana Grand should be informed of the approximate number of participants seven business days prior to the event. It is the customer’s

responsibility to report the guaranteed final number of participants at least two business days in advance. If this number is not entered,

the contracted number of participants or the actual number of participants will be charged if higher. In this case, the Grand Hotel can

only guarantee 10% increases over the previously agreed number of participants.

Pestana Grand Hotel reserves the right to assign an alternate room, more suited to the needs of the group, if the number of participants

differs from the number hired.

Audiovisuals

We can provide all kinds of technical assistance and audiovisual material through our supplier. If you choose another supplier, we ask for

address and contact person information as well as a list of equipment to be installed.

Entertainment

For your banquet, cocktail or any kind of entertainment you need, we will be at your disposal to advise you on the best animation.

Parking

The Hotel has a covered car park with capacity for 60 cars.

Food and Beverages

The customer must ensure that no food or drink is brought to the Hotel unless previously agreed in writing.

Non Smoking Policy

All rooms and restaurants are non-smoking.

Signage

The Grand Hotel puts in the lobby of the main entrance the signs related to the events that are taking place on that day. The remaining

signs can only be placed at the entrance of the rooms in question, with prior approval of the Hotel. We reserve the right to remove,

without prior notice, signs that, because of their size, appearance, location or manner of placement, do not fit the area in which they

are placed.

All signs should be placed on their own supports and away from fire extinguishers, emergency exits or near power sources. The Hotel

provides an easel for the placement of its signs, for each room.

It is not allowed to be affixed to the walls, ceiling and floor, whether through nails, pionales, tape or any other means.

Damage

The customer will be fully responsible for any loss or damage inflicted on the hotel by the customer, agents subcontracted by him or his

representatives. Hotel Pestana Grand cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of any merchandise, article or property of the

customer or participants who is present at the hotel before, during or after any event.

Safety

If you need additional security or surveillance in the room, we can provide budget for the specific needs you may have. If you wish to hire

an outside company providing security services, Pestana Grand management must approve all security procedures in writing.

Boxes, Packaging and Storage of Goods

We will assist you in receiving and storing boxes for your event. Please make sure that all boxes and packaging sent to the Hotel are

properly labeled with the name and date of the event, customer contact person and hotel contact person.

Delivery must be made by the hotel discharge area. Storage space is free during the event. If you require assistance with boxes,

packaging or goods, a fee of € 25.00 per employee per hour will apply.

If you wish to place gifts in the rooms, the Hotel will make the first delivery free of charge. For additional or personalized deliveries a

charge of € 5.00 per room per gift will apply.

Customer representatives may make deliveries to rooms provided they are accompanied by a hotel employee.

The Hotel will not receive or pay collections deliveries unless such arrangements have been made in writing with the Hotel.

At the end of the event, please contact the company responsible for picking up the remaining goods.

Pestana Grand cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of any item left in the rooms before, during or after any event.

Payment

20% deposit of total expected revenue, to reserve the event and lock the room.

30% of the expected payment up to 15 days prior to the day of the event.

50% remaining on the date of the event.

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation by the customer, due to unexpected circumstances the customer will be responsible for the payment of

50% of the expected revenue. Credit will be given to individuals or companies only with the permission of the Hotel Management or

Administration.
