• Applications−Increasing over time (80 –to 520)−October 2016

360 eligible applications for January admission of 50 students

4) Complete online assessment (CASPer™) - assesses non-cognitive skills and

interpersonal characteristics - comprised of 10-12 sections of video

and written scenarios followed by a set of probing questions under a time contract. Each response is graded by a different rater

ADMISSION to CONDITIONAL TERM 1

1) be an Ontario resident (landed immigrant, convention refugee, or Canadian Citizen)

2) submit a College of Nursing of Ontario letter/evaluation Registered Nurse in home jurisdiction (at least

equivalent to a diploma level)3) demonstrate English Language Proficiency

− Education in English OR− Testing

• (YELT score 1-4• TOEFL score Computer: 230, Paper: 573, iBT: 88• IELTS score 7)

• enhance the practice of internationally educated nurses to practice safely and competently in Ontario

• build on the strengths IENs already have so they can more quickly obtain the Canadian credentials they need for employment in Ontario

At completion of the program graduates:

• receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree in 20 months of concentrated and continuous six semesters.
