After eating or smoking. After touching your face, hair, etc. After handling raw meat. After handling rubbish.

7 Rotationally rubbackwards andforwards with claspedfingers of the righthand in the left palm.Change hands andrepeat.
2 Apply enoughcleanser to ensure itproduces a goodthick lather.
3 Rub hands toproduce lather.
4 Palm to palm.
8 Rotationally rub the right thumb clasped in the leftpalm, change handsand repeat.
9 Grip the left wrist andwork cleanser into theskin. Do the same withthe right wrist.
10 Rinse off all tracesof lather with cleanwater.
5 Right palm over theback of the left handand vice versa.
11 Dry hands thoroughlywith a disposablepaper towel.
12 Discard paper towelin waste bin, avoidtouching the bin.
6 Intertwine the fingers ofthe right hand over theleft and vise versa. Payparticular attention to the areas between fingers and finger nails.
Remove any jewelleryfrom hands and wrists to allow effectivecleaning. Wet hands with clean water.
Never handle food if you are ill with a stomach problem.
Cover sores and cuts with a waterproof dressing.
