GOALS

When the capabilities of machines and tools will become accessible to ordinary people in the form of personal fabrics.

The goal of Personal Fabrication is to bring localization instead of globalization.

PERSONAL FABRICATION

“We’ve had a digital revolution, but we don’t need to keep having it. Personal Fabrication will bring the programmability of the digital worlds we’ve invented to the physical world we inhabit”Neil Gershenfeld

PERSONAL FABRICATION

Personal Fabrication is to make everyone able to create what they want in the physical world. New technologies are the main help in this success.

A.A.2006-2007

What is being realized IS in our physical world of atoms rather than the computer digital world of bits.

PROTOTYPE AMBIENT

And till the time has come that each user can be the creator of his own ideas, the prototyping ambient should be considered, one of the important fields for creating new products. From where the new ideas get the physical form nowdays?

CONCLUSIONS

With problems mentioned before, still we are far from the Personal Fabrication worldwide success, and from the Fab Labs. We should work on it in order to make the Personal Fabrication more user-friendly to the extent that anybody with any level of knowledge will be able to manage. And this will take place consequent to the development of new technologies that makes interaction between users and THINGS easier.
