PerformCoop™ is a web application that can be deployed in cooperatives without requiring on-site installation or file transfers. The data in the system can be analyzed in many ways to meet the needs of small or large cooperatives. The

PerformCoop™ permanent database gives cooperatives access to their own data in a standardized, structured screen view that can be used

in decision making for the future.

PerformCoop™ also offers paths for progressive skills strengthening designed for members, officers and employees of cooperative enterprises with specific training materials for each target group.

Diagnostic analysis for cooperatives and mutuals PerformCoop™ includes a self-diagnostic toolkit. This initial step makes it possible to share our experience and management expertise related to cooperatives and mutuals. This includes a toolkit overview, a performance report and a performance assessment report. We have incorporated environmental and gender concerns, two major components affecting the dimension of governance.

Priorities and objectives The diagnostic analysis for cooperatives and

mutuals can highlight the sectors where improvements are possible and desirable

involving dimensions such as member services, governance or economic activities.

Introducing change PerformCoop™ allows for identification of desired changes and organizes implementation while simultaneously

targeting results that are fast, positive and visible to the members in the areas of

governance and the financial stability of the cooperative enterprise.

Performance Dashboard Report PerformCoop™ offers a performance dashboard report for

cooperative enterprises. This provides monitoring of the main performance indicators used in the diagnostic study, the pace of progress towards achieving objectives and the priorities identified for implementing changes. The dashboard can be used for follow-up and for managing an enterprise and can be adapted to the specific needs of the enterprise over time.

Training and competencies for cooperatives ProceduresStarting with the diagnostic analysis for cooperatives and mutuals, our efforts go into raising awareness of the best practices for management in cooperatives enterprises. Environmental and gender concerns are incorporated into the diagnostic analysis.

What is included?PerformCoop™ has 23 modules for skills strengthening that cover 82 training topics. These modules that have been designed to empower learners through the tools used. The modules emphasize the acquisition of practical skills.

The materials used put priority on discussion, role-playing and other appropriate methods for the target groups. The methodology encourages the sharing of existing knowledge within the groups receiving training.
