Scenario
You are planning to apply for a music course at a local sixth form college. To ensureyou have the best possible chance of success you should develop your music
performance skills during teacher-led sessions. You are required to take with you tothe audition a practice log that shows you have been able to track your progress duringthe sessions. This should include strengths and weaknesses in your vocal orinstrumental technique.
Use P.2 and P.3 to identify areas of technique to work on, as part of your log.
Getting Better
Develop your music performance skills and reviewyour own practice
Task:You should start your online blog by explaining what you would like to achieve by theend of the performance unit, in one years time, and a plan of how you are going toachieve this.
Attend all of your instrumental lessons, and bring your music into your practical musiclessons in order to practice. When you have completed a piece of music, record it andupload to your online blog to demonstrate your progress.
