people who live in glass house should not throw stones

"PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES SHOULD NOT THROW STONES"
Means people should not criticize other people for faults that they have themselves.
This proverb reminds us that we should be careful how we treat other people (with
our words and actions) because we can all be easily hurt. People "throw stones" at
other people to try to hurt them, and one way that people try to hurt other people is
by saying bad things about them.
We should not say insulting things to other people because they could easily do the
same thing to us. Something made of glass can easily break; it is vulnerable; and we
are all vulnerable in different ways. Sometimes we forget our own vulnerability and
"throw stones" at other people in the form of criticism.
To me the saying is a great one and it means that we should not judge others in a
negative way and throw remarks at them when we are not perfect ourselves. In other
words, none of us should be judgmental of others but I think the People who have
their own problems shouldn’t be remarking to others who do as well.
If you say something nasty about other people then they are going to want revenge.
Well they might. After all if you live in a glass house then someone might just start
throwing stones back at you if you throw them at others.
You shouldn't gossip about others because we all have issues. You try never to talk
badly about anyone because, unless you know them completely. If you talk badly of
others, you should expect the same from them, talking badly about you. You always
put yourself in the other person's place and think, if that were you, how would you
handle it? What would your life be like?
We shouldn't talk about other people because we may be talking about someone who
is in the same situation as we are. And if that person isn't in the same situation, we
may end up in a similar place. It just isn't good to try to put others down. We should
always try to help other people and boost them upwards. In my opinion, if we aren't
being helpful or a blessing towards someone else, then what is our purpose?
