Each year, Hunger takes the lives of approximately 27 lakh of our children!7500 every day – 312 every hour – 5 every minute
Over 23 crore Indians will sleep hungry tonight!
While one in every five adolescent boys is malnourished, one in every two girls in India is undernourished.
Nine out of ten pregnant women aged between15 and 49 years suffer from malnutrition and anaemia.
1/3rd of the World’s hungry live in India.
