    The scaf l4x,2x, 1x, 112x, 1/4x) indicates exposure factor. You ge t"normal" exposure at 1x, while 1 2x and 1/4x automaticallyprogram the camera to deliver one half and one fourth the amountof light to the film. The 2x and 4x settingsautomatically double an dquadruple he l ight reaching he f i lm.

    REMEMBER to se t he d ia l a t"1x" tor normal exposure.

    Use this control only when necessary o give intentional over- orunder-exposures hi le operat ingon "AUTOMATIC." For example,set the dial at 4x or 2x when shoot ing against he l ight, and at 1l4xor 1l2x when shoot ing againstdark backgrounds. n addi t ion, thedial can be set between the indicated positions to achievemorespecif c exposure control.
