Pediatric Mental Health in Primary Care
Pediatric Mental Health in Primary Care will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 as a live online event from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central Time.
LIVE STREAM INSTRUCTIONSThis conference is being supported by the event production company, Tri-Marq Communications. Registered attendees will be emailed specific instructions prior to the conference.
TARGET AUDIENCEThis educational activity is aimed at physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents and fellows, medical students, and psychologists who treat children and adolescents in the primary care setting.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this conference is to provide education and support to primary care providers in addressing the mental health care needs of children and adolescents.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES• Summarize the ways that primary care providers can
provide frontline mental health care to children and adolescents.
• Discuss the screening, assessment, and diagnosing of mental and behavioral health conditions in children and adolescents in the primary care setting.
• Discuss treatment options for mental and behavioral health conditions in children and adolescents in the primary care setting.
EDUCATIONAL METHOD
The format will include lectures from leaders in each field along with small-group discussions in a virtual setting.
