Once again we are offering a solid group of Polled Simmentals and Red Angus. We try tokeep calving ease and performance in our herd sire selection criteria. At weaning we select bullsshowing performance and a good disposition.

A number of bulls are from AI sires that have been proven: LFE Red Casino, Odin, Imaxand Rushmore. Our walking herd sires include Sunny Valley Banker, LFE Lewis 820Y and IPU Ac-celerator 206U. The Accelerator bulls are our last, as we sold this good bull to a neighbour. We areawaiting calves from our new herd sire, CMS Keystone332A from Czech-Mate Simmentals. He willadd thickness and muscle mass to his progeny.

For many years our selection of sires has been dominated by the desire to have a polledherd and deliver polled bulls to our buyers. We continue with this and have taken the extra step thisyear, selecting 17 bulls to be tested for the homozygous polled gene. In the information on the bullsyou will note that some are specified as homozygous polled. They should give you only polledcalves. Three Red Angus bulls, calving ease bulls that will work.

All bulls are fed by hand on a low grain ration and free choice hay. We want these bulls to last for our customers. Bulls come with a com-plete herd health protocol through Greenview Vet Clinic. All bulls are semen tested prior to sale day and guaranteed to be satisfactory breeders.

Welcome to the 2015 edition of the Peace Country Supreme Bull Sale. What adifference a year makes! Even the most optimistic cattleman would not have predicted theprice levels that our industry has reached over the past year on all classes of cattle.

As in years past, our 2yr. old bulls will come to sale in their working clothes. Theyhave been back-grounded on a very low energy ration as yearlings, grassed this summer and fall and started on a hand fed, low en-ergy (72.5 TDN) pellet, in early December. They have been bred and fed to cover a lot of ground, a lot of females and last a longtime. These factors will result in your cost per service using our bulls, to be as competitive as anywhere in the industry.

As our consignment is all 2yr. olds we'd prefer they are picked up sale day. If you are unable to take them home sale day,we will work to accommodate your needs. The contributor has theprivilege of making one bid which shall be presented tothe auctioneer before the animal enters the sale ring.Absentee Bids:Mailed or telephone bids shall be han-dled in a confidential manner if you are unable to attendthe sale in person.Breeding Guarantees: The seller warrants clear title toand the right to sell each animal offered for sale.All bulls offered will have passed a semen evaluationand are warranted to be sound, however, the seller isnot responsible for damage caused by foreign objectsafter the bull has been sold nor sickness that was notapparent at the time of the sale.Breeder’s Guarantee: All bulls offered will havepassed a semen evaluation and warranted to be sound(by a certified veterinarian) as per breed AssociationBreeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available atthe sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyerat any time. In no event shall the seller be responsiblefor reimbursing more than the purchase price. All heifersare guaranteed open.

Certificate of Registry: A certificate of registry dulytransferred to the buyer will be furnished for each reg-istered animal after settlement is made.Rights & Obligations: The above terms and conditionsof the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyerand the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale ofanimals following purchase in this sale shall constitutea separate transaction and the rights and obligations ofthe two parties connected thereto are not covered bythe terms and conditions of this sale.Shipping: Assistance may be given in making shipmentafter the sale, but no risk is assumed by consignors orthe seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility ofthe purchaser. Purchasers are required to furnish ship-ping instructions when making settlement. Any addi-tional expenses are the responsibility of the buyer,including duty, brokerage fees, etc..Retained Interest: Individual consignors reserve theright to collect “Owner’s Use” semen from their bulls inthis sale (at their expense and at the buyer’s conven-ience).
