After giving a number of assessed presentations, I am confident in possessing the capabilities required in order to be able to do this. However, I lack a little confidence in being able to facilitate discussions with people I do not know, however, if this is in a group setting such as a tutorial, I feel more at ease and I am able (and encouraged) to take part when required.I am aware that I will need to work on this in terms of going into organisations and working for them.

When studying on module (BUSU9QI – Business Improvement) this required myself (and my group) to go into a business setting and map out their operations and the way they worked. In doing so, we were to identify the bottlenecks that the company were suffering from, and provide them with solutions in order to rectify any issues that they may have.

As a result, using various methods this has enabled the group/teams to achieve a good grade and feedback.However, I am a very private person, and so I find it difficult to notify other team members regarding my family situation. Throughout University, I have not had any appointments with CDC. However, I have looked at other online systems that provided me with ways to effectively put together a comprehensive CV in order to apply for jobs.As a result of studying on this PDP module however, I have some confidence in knowing what skills organisations are looking for from graduate employees. From this, I will be seeking to apply these skills and make them known to prospective employers when applications are being made.
