TEXSLEEVE® is a CONTINUOUS NYLON FIBER, which is treated with a special process (DE-AERING), beforethe textile process. Thanks to this treatment, all the air present in the fibre is blown out to give the textile wire the best possiblecompactness and strength. The result is a “super compact textile wire” which is totally different from the conventional TEXTURIZED ones(like CORDURA) who still have air inside also after the textile process. This treatment assures the fiber the highest resistance modulus far better than any other standard fibre exi-sting on the market.

PRESSURE RESISTANCEThe main TEXSLEEVE® feature is to assure the best oil spill retention when damagesor malfunctions should occur on flexible hoses during their service in the field.Tests performed accordingly to SAE J 343, have shown an oil retention capability 7times superior than any other similar product. (the sleeve holds a 8 bars pressure for15 seconds, while the others not even reach 1 bar).
ABRASION RESISTANCETEXSLEEVE® fibers have been carefully designed to withstand high mechanicalstrength when subject to external abrasion conditions.TEXSLEEVE® fibers have a tensile strength resistance superior than any other similarproduct and have successfully passed the abrasion test according to ISO 6945 (sharpknife with maximum charge allowed). Thanks to this superior abrasion resistance, it is possible to obtain a product with athinner wall thickness, who makes the sleeve lighter, more flexible and easier to fit.
ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITYWhen assembled on a flexible hose, TEXSLEEVE® assures electrical conductivityvalues between 3 and 5 x 106 Ohm/meter, value well below the limit requested bythe specification ISO 8031 (107 Ohm/meter).
PIN HOLE TESTA special pinhole test has been designed to simulate oil spill from hydraulic hoses andto prove TEXSLEEVE® retention capability.Hydraulic oil spills coming from said pin holes have been perfectly retained byTEXSLEEVE® thus showing ideal response to personal safety prevention.
