Actualization by focusing on one’s Real Self Vs.

the Ideal Self.

Originating from the Humanistic School of

thought - Real Self stands for the way an

individual actually is. Ideal Self on the other

hand is the person one wants to be. The idea

behind Stupid Eye is to be able to bridge this

gap between the two, and move toward self-

actualization - the desire to become more and

more what one is, to become everything that

one is capable of becoming.” (Maslow, 2006)

The Process In the first meeting a group is formed – where the

discussion leads to and revolves around every

member’s Real Vs. Ideal Self. Leading to the team

conjuring up frames for everyone and eventually each

member goes through the process of a photo-shoot.

Vipul Amar World-renowned photographer Vipul Amar’s approach to photography has stayed true to his first instinct when he picked up that camera – his images cinematic as opposed to pictorial. As he says, “ W e all are a creation of the light of the goodness, the darkness of the evil and the shadows cast by it. And that is what my inspiration is...”

Harsheen Arora A psychologist by profession and a creative visionary by passion, Harsheen uses the combination of her skills to create dynamic concepts, which know just what chord to strike, leading to awe-inspiring images.

She manages to pull out the best in people – making them aware of their own selves.
