WEATHER FACTORS
WEATHER FACTORS
Weather refers to the state of the atmosphere a specific time and place.
Weather describes condition such as air pressure, wind, temperature, and the amount of moisture in the air.
The sun provides almost all of the Earth’s energy.
Energy from the sun
Evaporates water into the atmosphere
Clouds form
Eventually, the water falls back form Earth as rain or snow.
The sun is a source of heat energy
The sun provides the energy that drives Earth’s weather.
WEATHER FACTORS
There are different factors that help explain the weather. Here are the following:
Air temperature
Wind
Humidity
Relative Humidity
AIR TEMPERATURE
The temperature of air influences your daily activities.
High Air molecules It feelsTemperature move rapidly warm
Low Air molecules It feels Temperature moves slower cold
WIND Air moving in a specific direction is called wind.
Wind results because air moves from high pressure to low pressure.
HUMIDITY The amount of water vapor present in the air.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY A measure of the amount of water vapor present in the air
compared to the amount needed for saturation at a specific temperature.
DEW POINT The temperature at which there is saturation and
condensation forms.
The dew point changes with the amount of water vapor in the air.
