Our vision has always been to create a partial discharge alarm system that exceeds any of today’s industry quality, safety and efficiency requirements. The PD Annunciator™ unique design consists of a three channels acquisition module paired with sensors of your choice, most commonly TEV and Acoustic or HFCT. With many advancements and innovations, the PD Annunciator™ handles partial discharge monitoring on metallic cabinets using our proven and advanced technologies.
PD ANNUNCIATOR™ MODULE
The PD Annunciator™ module is equipped with fast VHF/UHF PD detection circuitry, that TEV type measurements take advantage of. It also has a highly sensitive ultrasonic detection circuitry yielding efficient results. Software algorithms are used to discriminate partial discharge from ambient noise. Multiple PD Annunciator™ modules can be daisy-chained thus enabling PD detection on many cabinets at the same time. Modbus communication allows for easy integra-tion with existing Scada systems over RS485 standard.

SONOTEV™ SENSORThe SonoTEV™ sensor is installed directly on the cabinet metallic sur-face. Its unique design allows for VHF signals detection produced by partial discharge activity within the cabinet enclosure using a capacitive coupling technology. The SonoTEV™ sensor is also equipped with a contact ultrasonic sensor that targets acoustic PD signals. Its aluminum body case allows for great immunity to nearby electrical noise sources for greater sensitivity.
PD ANNUNCIATOR™ SOFTWAREThe PD Annunciator™ software allows for easy configuration of the many available settings such as PD level threshold and alarm conditions. Its graphic inter- face is designed for better diagnosis of partial discharge activity in your electrical apparatus such as switchgear cabinets. Simply connect the PD Annunciator™ module to a Windows® computer using a mini-USB cables to get instant access with the provided software.

HFCT-20HD™ SENSORWhen paired with the PD Annunciator™ system, the HFCT-20HD™sensor detects small currents produced by partial discharge activity. Those currents will flow to earth through the grounding cables on which the HFCT-20HD™ sensors are installed. The HFCT-20HD™ features a sturdy, compact 20mm diameter design is perfect for on-site installation with limited access. Hybrid Sono-TEV™/HFCT-20HD™ setups are just as easy to install and procure excellent flexibility for your monitoring needs.
