An initiative to help protect dogs
PAW-A-LIVE
Growing up, I have always noticed abandoned dogs on the streets of Mumbai. They are left alone to survive causing them to stray away and get into accidents. They are often left to die as there is nobody to help them.
In order to help these poor victims, I spent my summer designing and manufacturing 250 dog tags which state the name of the dog and the owner’s number making it easy to restore the dogs back to their owners if lost or hurt. Residents all over my neighborhood now make their pets wear these tags and can be easily identified by people. Various NGOs have volunteered to help strays by providing their numbers to be printed on the tags.
