WORK EXPERIENCE: House Manager/Tech Operator Oakland, CA Echo Brown, Performer November 2016-March 2017 Working as a private house manager for Echo, I managed box office duties and ran the front of house in a small (110 persons) event warehouse venue in downtown Oakland, CA. I also organized and operated her sound and light cues throughout the show and helped tear down chairs post-performance. Personal Assistant Alamo, CA Heejin Kim Vorhees/Jay Vorhees January-March 2017 Management of very organized household. Running errands including: car detailing, dry cleaning pickup, dog walking, grocery shopping, and any other necessary duties. Household jobs including: fireplace cleaning, wood stacking, stocking of food and other necessities, amazon ordering of necessities, dog feeding, leaf blowing, and general cleanup. Nanny Orinda, CA Brooke & Mitch Dougherty January-March 2017 Daily care of 11 month old baby boy including: feeding, playing, putting down for naps, taking on walks/hikes, light housework and laundry folding for family. House Manager Berkeley, CA Berkeley Repertory Theater December 2016-March 2017 Nightly duties including running front of house operations in one of Berkeley Rep’s two large indoor theaters and maintaining order throughout the performance. Creating a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere for patrons to enjoy live theater performance. Filling out a house report nightly, including cash handling, box office numbers, patron interactions, and noting situations that may need facilities or tech maintenance later on. Being in constant walkie-talkie contact with the stage manager and ensuring that both front and back of house operations are simultaneously effective. The Marsh Theater San Francisco/Berkeley, CA House Manager October 2016-Current The Marsh serves as a theater platform allowing solo artists to audition and perform monologue works. As house manager, I aided in opening the 100+ seat blackbox theater every night, setup for the show, assist patrons at the Box office, maintain order during shows, assist patrons leaving the show, and clean up afterwards. Throughout each evening, I complete a count of multiple banks of petty cash, assuring that the correct amount of cash is there before and after the performance. Customer service is also of utmost importance, as I strive to make sure each and every patron has an enjoyable experience. California Shakespeare Theater Berkeley/Orinda, CA Assistant House Manager May 2016-October 2016 Assisting in maintaining order at a large outdoor theater venue, running house operations before, during, and after shows, opening and closing grounds, advising house staff on problem solving and time sensitive situations, helping to resolve patron conflict while simultaneously improving the patron experience, counting and bagging large sums of money (donations) for bank transport. Most importantly, providing patrons with an enjoyable and uplifting experience through the art of live theater and ensuring this experience feels personal.

California Shakespeare Theater Berkeley/Orinda, CA House Staff, Bartender May 2015-Current Assisted in running the theater before, during, and after shows. Jobs included taking tickets, running a golf cart to transport patrons with inhibited movement, and providing a general sense of welcome to the theater. Actively answered any and all questions posed by patrons. Maintained constant walkie-talkie contact with fellow staff to ensure the security and safety of the grounds at all times. Tending a full bar and creating show-specific cocktails, meanwhile interacting personably with customers. Humboldt State University; Art Department Arcata, CA Jewelry Lab Technician August 2015-May 2016 Facilitated open lab hours every week where students could work on projects outside of class, cleaned lab and helped to maintain different tools and workstations, worked extra hours at end of semester to prepare lab for the following semester’s crop of students, prepped demo and instructional projects for professor. Arcata, CA Essay Reader/Test Grader August 2014-December 2014 Graded tests and read/graded essays for a 20th Century Art History class of 90 students. Provided tutoring to students that were having a hard time with the course, or just needed extra help. Proctored a practice exam and instructed review sessions to the class.

California Shakespeare Theater Orinda, CA Triangle Lab Assistant May 2014-August 2014 Educational outreach/gallery program with the California Shakespeare Theater, engaged with patrons through art projects and interactive media, encouraged audience participation in creative tasks, set up and disbanded audio equipment, introduced guest artists and bands in a stage setting to large crowds, provided general hospitality services.
