BIRTH OF PATRIOTS GHANA KNUST • AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

• To bring together all passionate, selfless and patriotic Ghanaian citizens and to use our combined knowledge, skills, ideas and other resources to support development activities in various Ghanaian communities in areas such as Education, Health, Human Rights, and Economic Development.

• To create a platform and a link between patriotic leaders and the patriotic youth to share ideas that shall develop the youth and gain development experiences and passion in nation-building.

• To prepare, develop and support the Ghanaian youth to create jobs through Youth Empowerment and support projects towards self-development and sustainable living to help reduce international migration amongst Ghanaian youth caused by poverty and mindset.

• To promote development through international cultural exchange programs and To promote patriotism, transparency, accountability,

• To mobilize and manage resources from and on behalf of donor agencies and selflessness, and unity among Ghanaian citizens for national development.

MEMBERSHIP OF PATRIOTS GHANAMembership is open to all passionate and selfless Ghanaian nationals who are eighteen (18) years and above who are either resident in Ghana or abroad who wish to make a difference in their own communities.

To become a member of the Patriots Ghana, kindly complete amembership form and the Patriots Ghana KNUST team would respond to your request with all other necessary processes to complete your membership.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

There are 5 different types of membership with their corresponding contribution amount per year. The types or membership levels are below:

Member (GHc12.00) per year

Advocate (GHc24.00) per year

Champion (GHc48.00) per year

Gold (GHc100.00) per year

Black Star (GHc200.00+) per year

MEMBERSHIP CARDS AND CERTIFICATES

Patriots Ghana would give membership card and certficates to all categories of membership.

The Membership card would also be used in the future to identify members at activities such as conferences, workshops, cultural exchange programs, youth support projects and many more.

In a summary, Patriots Ghana-KNUST seeks to provide the best platform for all youths and citizens of Ghana to contribute towards our motherland. The youth will be motivated to know that there is no greater fulfillment than doing things for others, putting a smile on the face of a child, and giving hope to parents. In effect the youth will look forward to what they can do for their country and not what their country can do for them. Certificate of membership and an ID cards will be offered by Patriots Ghana after registration.

Future Goals• Health : Provide free health screening in areas where its not provided and

also provide medical supplies which is needed for the health facilities in the Central Region.

• Education: Improve teachers capabilities to plan lessons, presentations and class management through workshops. To improve the exchange between schools to enhance idea exchange and cultural awareness. To volunteer services in schools al over the Ashanti Region.

• Child Labor: Rescue the children currently in child labor and bring them back to school, as well as preventing future children from child labor in the Central Region. Furthermore rescue children who have been trafficked to other regions.

• Provide micro finance for the mothers in fishing communities to help reduce child labor.

• Lastly, to reach every deprived community in the Central Region
