(1) Patrimonito arrived in Korea.
*[sound] A flight is taking off.
(2) Patrimonito, who was interested in history so much, explored various historic sites in Korea
along with friends.

(3) Meanwhile, he came to visit Jongmyo with friends.
*The warm sun was shining on them.
(4) Patrimonito was surprised.
*Take a close‐up his face.
(5) Compared to other sites he visited before, he saw fewer visitors in the shrine and often
spotted people’s careless behavior, although it was one of the World Heritage sites.
(6) Patrimonito got embarrassed and approached one of those boys to ask if he knew about
where he was.
(7) “Isn’t just a park?” said a boy.
(8) Patrimonito was disappointed with his lack of interest and concern of the site.

(9) “I should do something to raise people’s cultural awareness.”
(10) To find solutions, Patrimonito racked his head with friends.
(11) A good idea came into his mind.

(12) “Let’s create an organization for the youth.”

(13) Patrimonito and his friends called their acquaintances for help.
(14) And they began campaigning for Jongmyo on the street.
(15) “We need your love and concern.”
(16) To promote the shrine, they conceived various plans.

(17) Their activities included performing a play dealing with Jongmyo and raising funds.
(18) They contributed the money to the Cultural Heritage Administration. “Please use this to
promote Jongmyo Shrine.”
(19) Their activities moved people’s mind and more people showed their interest in joining the
group.
(20) A boy who had met Patrimonito earlier volunteered to help him, saying he’d got to know a
lot about Jongmyo thanks to him.
(21) Patrimonito made up his mind to promote Jongmyo not only in Korea but outside the
country.
(22) He designed a website for the youth organization to make known the shrine all over the
world.
