• Effective December 24, 2017, the rates for UPS® Ground, UPS Air and International services will increase an average net 4.9%.

• Effective December 24, 2017, The Large Package Surcharge will apply to any U.S. Domestic package with a length exceeding 96 inches or a length plus girth greater than 130 inches.

• Effective December 24, 2017, The dimensional weight divisor for packages less than or equal to one cubic foot in size (1,728 cubic inches) will be 139 for all U.S. Domestic services subject to Daily Rates or Alaska and Hawaii Rates.

• Effective July 8, 2018, The Large Package Surcharge for any U.S. Domestic package delivered to a residential address will be $90.

• Effective July 8, 2018, The Additional Handling surcharge for any U.S. Domestic package exceeding 70 pounds in actual weight will be $19.00.

• Effective January 21st – Rate updates applied/updated zone charts

• While most Parcel Select Ground options will be increasing, there are some weight and zone groupings where rates are decreasing. Parcel Select Ground rates are decreasing for Zone 4 – 4 lbs, and Zone 5 – 3, 4 and 5 lb. packages. Rates are also decreasing for Zone 3 for packages weighing between 44 lbs. and 59 lbs.

• Rates are seeing a much larger increase of between $1.03 and $4.11 per package in the 10 lbs. or heavier traveling to Zones 6, 7 or 8.

• Effective January 21st

• Parcels weighing one pound or less and moving under “Parcel Select” to see a 7% rate hike• Small, Medium and Large Flat Rate Boxes to all increase by $0.05

• USPS 2018 price increases are relatively modest compared to the last few years

• Effective January 22, 2018, a Third Party Billing Surcharge will apply to FedEx Express and FedEx Ground shipments that are billed to a third party.

• Effective January 22, 2018, applicable criteria and pricing for packages that require additional handling, are oversized, or are unauthorized, will change.

• Effective January 22, 2018, FedEx SmartPost will apply dimensional weight pricing, and the Non-Machinable Surcharge will change.

• Effective January 22, 2018, FedEx Freight will implement an Over Length Surcharge of $85 per shipment and will be applied to shipments with dimensions of 8 feet or greater and less than 12 feet.
