Retrofit
Masonite’s patio doors are a retrofit spec. This means that customers can
use our patio doors not only in new construction, but also if they are
replacing a sliding glass door – which uses a smaller rough opening.
While we don’t make sliding glass doors, we can accommodate
customers who want to replace theirs with a French door.
The actual unit size of a nominal 72X80” patio door is 71-1/4 X 79-1/2”
