Global Honors is UW Tacoma’s interdiscipli-
nary honors program, open to all majors and
taught by internationally reputed faculty from
programs across campus. It provides path-
ways to academic excellence, adding distinc-
tion to the degree. Small core seminars, com-
munity outreach, study abroad, internship
and professional opportunities prepare high-
achieving students for the challenges of a
globalizing world.
Curriculum
Students may opt for the Minor in Global En-
gagement or one of three Global Honors path-
ways. These involve 12-25 credits total, and
culminate in capstone projects of 2-5 credits.
Study abroad is encouraged, but not required.
