Instructor’s Award RequirementsThis course is designed as an additionaltraining unit for Pathfinder staff members andas a means to provide qualified instructors forthe many seminars necessary for the trainingof other Pathfinder staff. The emphasis is onthe training of PIA candidates to becomequalified instructors for the following areas:

• Starting and nurturing Pathfinder Clubs• Pathfinder Basic Staff Training Course• Seminars necessary for the fulfillment

of the Master Guide requirements• Seminars necessary for the fulfillment

of the Pathfinder Leadership Award

Objectives• To teach PIA candidates how to

organize curriculum materials needed toinstruct Pathfinder staff

• To teach PIA candidates how to presentthese seminars in an informative andinteresting manner

• To ensure that there is a pool ofqualified staff instructors available tothe conferences and Pathfinder clubs

B. One of the New Skills Developmentseminars in the Master Guide ORPathfinder Leadership Awardcurriculum.
