Harish strongly opposes the prolifera6on of new, privately-run charter schools in our communi6es that siphon needed funds away from our public, neighborhood schools. He adamantly opposed the 2012 school closings and would stand up against any addiGonal efforts to close neighborhood schools. The claim: Harish won’t effecGvely represent the large LaGno community in the 40th District because he is Indian-American. The truth: Harish is running because we need a true progressive, independent leader who will stand up and fight for the needs of all of our communi6es. That’s what he will do as state representaGve.
