Did you ever think you could change someone's life for the better? Each year the parishes of St. Mary’s County have a unique opportunity to reach out to the community and spread the Good News of Christ and our Catholic Faith at the County Fair. This is an experience of a lifetime! Would you prayerfully consider volunteering for a 2-hour shift at the Catholic Evangelization booth? You don't need to be a television evangelist to inspire others to know Christ. You can make a difference. If interested, please see the following link to sign up: http://www.saintaloysiuschurch.org/st-marys- county-fair-2015/
St. John’s Parish Mission. Plan on attending an exciting parish mission right here at St. John’s, Monday-Wednesday, October 5-7th. John has worked with people such as Mother Teresa and was a friend of Pope St. John Paul II. Millions have heard John Pridmore speak. Please help us spread the word!

How is your Walk with Francis pledge going? Have you followed through? Jesus encourages us with the joy and beauty of humble service in the Gospel today when He teaches, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.” If you need help getting started, check out the opportunities featured in this bulletin or find more at WalkwithFrancis.org. With Pope Francis about to arrive in the United States, take this opportunity to challenge family, friends, and coworkers to take the pledge as well! Share your pledge and challenge others on social media using #WalkwithFrancis. The best way to welcome Pope Francis is to #WalkwithFrancis!
All men are welcome to join the St. John's Men's Group on Saturday mornings at 6:30am for light breakfast and fellowship followed by prayer and Sunday's Scripture review and then Holy Mass at 8:00am.
