a 2.0 litre dCi engine. The ALL MODE 4x4 system makes it an

extremely capable off-road vehicle. The fast reacting ALL MODE

4x4 engages all four wheels when conditions demand, reducing fuel

consumption and minimising emissions. The auto mode is proactive

and reactive. When sensing a potential loss of grip the control unit

instantly corrects the torque and automatically engages the rear

The Nissan QASHQAI range gets their zest for driving from the lightweight aluminium 2.0

litre 102kW petrol or state-of-the-art 2.0 litre dCi 110kW diesel engines. As an extension

to the multi-award winning Nissan QASHQAI, the new 1.5 litre dCi, which delivers 78kW of

power and an impressive 240Nm of torque, is a remarkable offering with lower fuel economy

and emissions. With 6 speed gearboxes on all engines (except the 1.6 litre petrol), the

response is exciting yet quiet and refined.

For the highly economical option the 1.5 litre dCi, with 5.1l/100km combined fuel consumption

and 135g/km CO2 emission levels, is firmly assisting Nissan’s endeavour and commitment

to eco-friendliness. The Nissan QASHQAI 1.5 litre dCi is fitted with an advanced Bosch

common rail direct injection system, ensuring the engine is always working as efficiently as

possible offering an enjoyable performance in a smooth, refined and environmentally-friendly

manner. Nissan recommends the use of only Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel 50 ppm (ULS) on

QASHQAI 1.5 litre dCi model.

If you want to take it easy, there’s automatic Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) available

on the 2.0 litre petrol. By a complex system of gears the CVT equipped gearbox allows for

effortless, smooth gear changes and driving experience. CVT is computer controlled and the

revs stay constant, ensuring better effeciency and performance for your engine, resulting in

smoother acceleration.
