integrated to the robot wrist which transports thepart from press to press mantaining theorientation of the part and following the optimal,natural path. The interpress distance can beconsiderably reduced and production outputincreased.

thaxis of the robot, but a real co-

ordinated additional axis which maximizes yourrobot versatility at minimum cost.

Adding the 7th

axis to your robot also bringsadvantages to the tooling. No central boom isneeded anymore , so only end-of-tool isreplaced when preparing new production.

axisperforms equally or better than conventionaltooling systems with central booms. Toolchanging can be handled automatically by therobot within the working area.

Thanks to our 7t axis, the robot keeps theorientation of the part when trasferring the part fromone press to the other. Obviously, this entailsimportant reductions in both the inside-press timesand also in the inside-press overlaping betweenloading and unloading robots.

Increases in production rates are the result of boththe effect of mantaining the orientation of the partand also from the reduction in the interpressdistance, besides the obvious advantages inreducing floor space in the workshop.

In addition to this, because you do not rotate thepart in the interpress movement you find less work

piece inertia and consequently less vibrationproblems.
