CIRCUMSTANCES THAT LED TO PARTITION OF PAK-INDO

INTRODUCTION

Originally, India & Pakistan

were both part of the British

Empire and were one country

.The partition of Pak-Indo is

separation of Pakistan & India

on Aug. 14,1947 & Aug,15,1947.

There was a lot of conflict

between the 2 new countries,

they have to face a lot of

difficulties.

CAUSES OF PARTITION

.When India left the British Empire,

the British left many boundary issues,

which caused major conflicts

between the two new countries.

.There was also a huge migration

between India & Pakistan as people

moved because of religion.

own religion. They want to follow their own religious

values as Muslims.

Pakistan emerged on the world globe 14th August, 1947 with much of the

sacrifices and blood shed.

THE CREATION OF PAKISTAN STARTED A NEW ERA OF PROBLEMS FOR

PAKISTAN… BUT FINALLY MUSLIMS WERE SUCCESSFUL IN GETTING THEIR

SEPARATE HOMELAND

1:Terrorism & growth of fundamentalism

2:Mutual hatred & mistrust

3:Issue of Kashmir

4:Muslims majority areas handed over to India

5:Radcliff award was unjust & unfair to Pakistan.

6:Award also paved way for disputes b/w India &

Pakistan.

Agriculture did not produce

sufficient to create wealth

ADMINISTRATIVE PROBLEM

Workable administrative machinery

could not be set up because of the

great difficulties caused by congress

Pakistan had limited sources of water

India’s estimated hydral power generation

capacity was 30-40 million kw while

Pakistan was merely a half million kw.

TO PAKISTAN & BANGLADESH MAY LEAD TO FUTURE
