they verify authenticity and what does their Academic Honesty policy for the IB say.

EE coordinator introduces project and their role and how to communicate with them
One class period every other week is a dedicated research period. DP students work on EE while non-DP students work on another research related project.
Our LMS has in the past taken DP students out of TOK during the last 3 weeks of the junior year to have a "boot camp" - learn about the requirements, examine questions, begin to develop the topic and question
Push in with TOK as needed, grade assignments through TOK
Students meet with the EE coordinator every fourth day for 82 minutes.
We embed instruction and work time for the EE into TOK. We introduce the EE in a TOK class and allow the students time to research as well as time to write portions of the EE in TOK classes. We take one class (prior to the EE camp at the U of R) to introduce the EE and set expectations for the EE camp (research proposal form) for juniors. We also use one TOK class (80 min) every other month for students to independently research or write EE (juniors and seniors).
We have an 80-minute block each week designated for students to work on either Extended Essay or CAS
Does your school offer a research or academic writing course to your IB students? (12)

11 – No (Not geared solely to the IB students. IB students wouldn't have time to take such a course.)
1 – Yes - All students take AP Language and Composition as sophomores
If your schools offers any additional supports for the Extended Essay or you would like to share a best practice, please list it here. (6 responses)
Support is offered one-on-one with me (the librarian) whenever a student would like assistance with the EE process and their research above and beyond the support they receive from their mentor.
We had two pull out days (1/2 day in afternoon) for students to work in our library with librarian during senior year.
Participation in 2 workshops at the University of Rochester; students are pulled out of classes once a month starting in the 2nd semester of junior year to work with the librarian on their Extended Essay.
We are opening a Writing Center in the spring to assist students in all writing needs; I imagine students will seek assistance with the EE in this way.
EE google classroom, remind me app
We have an orientation workshop in January of Junior year (mentors and mentees together) and a workshop on research skills at the local university in February of Junior year
