made?

As a small, low-budget, British film, an independent British company would be most suitable.

Ealing Studios

Ealing Studios is a British television and film production company, based at Ealing Green in West London.

Will Barker bought the ‘White Lodge’ in Ealing Green in 1902, intended for film making.

The company gained it’s reputation initially from producing comedies, then later progressed onto having a wider range of films in numerous genres.

Ealing Studios is the only British, independent and vertically integrated company.

History of the company

What other films have they made?

Similar genres: They are best known for classic films, but have also produced dramas, black comedies, crimes and teenage films.

Target audience: One of their most famous is “St Trinians.” This had a huge teenage audience, and our target audience is people aged 16-25.

Experience: Ealing Studios is one of the most prestigious independent companies in the UK, with a good reputation of making high quality films.

It is the only British, independent, vertically integrated company, and have proved that they can deliver professional products, making a large income.

Our film is quite a simple concept, so wouldn’t require a large budget, so would be easy to produce.

They have their own facilities to make films, this would be convenient to make our film.

The company has been responsible for four of the top 12 highest grossing UK independent films (St Trinian’s, Spiceworld, Kevin and Perry, Valiant.)
