o Applytheprinciplesofearthworksconstruction (RIIMPO402D)o Conductearthworks (RIICRC306D)o Carryoutexcavation (CPCCCM2002A)o Installtrenchsupport (RIICCM210D).

Otherrelevantunitsofcompetencyinclude:

Ifyouhavenotcompletedtheseunitsofcompetency,theVBAwillassessyourEarthworksandExcavationworksknowledgeagainstthecompetenciesincludedintheunits.

ExperienceSotheVBAcanassesswhetheryouhavetherequiredexperienceinthiscomponentofdomesticbuildingwork,youshouldprovideaportfolio(tables1,2and3)ofevidencethatdemonstratesyourexperience.Thisevidencemustshowyoucancarryout,andarrangeormanagethecarryingoutofalltheactivitiesassociatedwithEarthworksandExcavationworkinacompetentmannerandtoaprofessionalstandard.

Yourportfolioshouldincludeevidenceof:
