Are renewable technologies the answer?What should a business focus on first - behaviourchange, energy efficiency or low carbon technologies?What is the Green Deal and is it a good thing for businesses.Richard’s talk will cover the big issues, technologies, behavioural change, monitoring and targeting and whether to go for the Green Deal.

85% of existing houses will be standing in 2050
Government commitment to reduce emissions by 80% by 2050 (25% of emissions from housing).
895,342 homes across Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire – most do not meet thermal targets.
We need to be retrofitting 24,200 homes a year or 465 per week across N&D.
For Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire this is a
£370 – 500 million per annum market.
Between 12,062 and 16,300 jobs will be created or supported by this level of investment.
