WORKING STEPS

Open the catia software. Start/mechanical design/part design.

Select the XY plane. Select sketch icon.

The plane automatically rotates to normal. Draw the circle as per the given

dimensions.

Click to save the diagram with suitable

name.

Two circles are constrained to the

60mm gap.

Then select bi tangent line to form the

tangent around the circle.

Then click the trim tool to the unwanted

profile deduction.

Trim the unwanted.

Double click the trim icon to trim

continuously.

Here we have to use quick trim option.

After trim the profile this will show like as below,,

Mirror the profile about an axis. The diagram will be like as below,,

Give exit work bench. Then pad the profile for 10mm length.

Select the YZ plane to draft the line length 160 mm.

Give corner option to the lines. The radius of the corner should be 60mm.

Then give exit work bench. Click the face of the object to draw the circles to pipe rib.

Select the rib tool then select the ribbing sketch and required curve.

Paste the sketch on the body diagram face. Change positioning sketch method used.

Pad definition 10mm length given to the pasting sketch.

Then completion of pad, draw the circle. Put dimension as 60mm diameter.

Constrained the circle to the object as concentricity.

After drawing of circle with proper dimension, pocket it to the 10 mm length.

Select the circle edge; give chamfer to the 4 mm length.

After completion of chamfer select pipe joiner edge to the edge fillet 3mm.

Other side face has to get the pocket forming for required circle diameter 60.pocket length 10mm. Then the diagram is completed.
