Kazan is one of the largest cities in Russia
This city’s history dates back to over a thousandyears
You can meet unique (even for the modernsociety) tolerance to religion and different
cultures. In the Kazan Kremlin there is a Muslimmosque and..
..an Orthodox Church standing near
Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan, one of the nationalrepublics in Russia. This is a city which combines
skillfully traditions and modern vogues.
Now let’s switch to the Venue itself. If you look from the officialresidence of the President of Tatarstan located in Kremlin (see
photo, left side) over the Volga River Embankment at the nearestbuildings - the highest one is the Riviera Hotel – our venue
TheRiviera
Hotel
It is no surprise that the New Year exposition washeld in one of the most fashionable and modern
hotels in Kazan – in the Riviera
In the luxurious interiors of the Riviera Hotel theexhibition looked as a precious pearl
One of the unwritten rules of our Foundation states:Exhibition shall be arranged so that it would be
interesting for visitors to attend it. The audience shallhave the possibility to relax and ‘dive’ into each artwork
The interior design of the venue shall becomfortable and modern
Rooshan, an artist from Kazan, was discussing thepaintings presented at the exhibition with the
President of the Foundation Mr. Mikael Dashianfor quite a time
As for Mikael himself – the camera simply failedto focus at him those days
Despite the New Year snow Kazan warmlywelcomed our exhibition
This is a great success for us all and opens agreat outlook and possibilities for future
cooperation
