HISTORY OF THE COMPANY :- The first factory of PARLE Company was established in GERMANY in 1929 by
Narottamdas Chauhan
Before independence the first factory set up in 1929 in Mumbai city to
manufacture sweets & toffees. But some famous international brands were
dominated the parle.
In 1939 Parle Company started to manufacture the biscuits in addition to
sweets and toffees by making this products already they created good name
in market.
The parle grew name in strength with this diversification the company
introduced parle glucose and parle Monaco and this are the first two brands
of biscuits introduced
Parle-G biscuits were earlier called parle gluco until 1980’s the G in the name
Parle-G originally called as GLUCOSE .after few days later slogan sated that G
for GENIUS
IN 2013 PARLE-G became India’s first FMCG brand to cross the 5000/-Cr mark
in retail sales
POPULARITY:-
At the first time PARLR-G biscuits were eaten as tea time snacks and the
products was instantly recognised by its iconic white and yellow wax paper
wrapper. The wrapper features as a young girl in 1960
In January 2013 PARLE-G covered strong distribution network over 6 million
retail stores in India
In 2014 The Brand Report Trust ranked PARLE-G as the 42nd most trusted
brands of India

Process of making biscuits:-
1st stage mixing of flour in a big bowl with all the required ingredients
In 2nd stage the mixed flour sent in a machines to make a proper structure of
biscuits
In 3rd stage the biscuits can be sent to 6 heating different zones which makes the
biscuits to bake in a proper way
In 4th stage the biscuits can be tested whether it is in a proper shape or not and after
testing process is done the biscuits are sent for packing
In 5th stage the biscuits are packed according to their prices
