We are so lucky here at Parklands to have such wonderful partners who enhance our

learning and who give unique opportunities for our pupils and community. On Saturday

we welcomed the prestigious Northern Ballet who performed their children’s ballet, ‘The Little Red Riding Hood.’ 180 lunches were

provided and the children (and parents thoroughly loved the experience.) In addition,

a further 100 presents were donated to our Xmas Eve Eve extravaganza (next Monday –

23rd Dec 11am – 2pm).

The whole school was treated to a wonderful Panto last week as our great friends at M and M productions showcased their interactive,

brilliant ‘Jack and the Beanstalk.’ We are simply having ‘A Wonderful Christmas Time.’

The choir sang and raised £300 at Tesco and the whole school loved watching the Rec and

KS1 brilliant shows and the Y3/4 Carol Concert. With over 200 parents watching, it

created a wonderful Xmas feeling.What a proud Head Teacher I am – have a

Merry Xmas all.
