, after giving the final blessing during Mass at
Visitation Parish, Father Michael Wagner suffered an apparent burst cerebral aneurysm.
Father remains in grave condition at St. Joseph’s hospital While, he has shown some potential signs of improvement, he is still in the Critical Care Unit. Please join all in continuing prayers for him, his family and hopes
for a miracle.
Thank you to all who have helped to make the Wagner family comfortable during this difficult time. We have had an overwhelming
and generous response in supplying warm meals for them.
We are holding prayer vigils at 7pm every evening alternating between Holy Rosary and Visitation parishes.
The hospital has asked that all inquiries and updates be obtained through Caring Bridge

Called to Serve Christ
The Called to Serve as Christ campaign invites every person in the Archdiocese of Seattle
to invest in the future of our priests, women religious and parishes. As a campaign volunteer,
individuals/couples will assist Visitation Parish in reaching our goals. Together, with other
leaders at our parish, volunteers will serve as ambassadors on behalf of Archbishop Sartain
to fellow parishioners.
As a volunteer, you will:
Only commit to three months of active campaigning (May through July).
Attend two regional meetings during the campaign, which may involve travel to a neighboring
parish.
Personally follow-up with fellow parishioners to answer their questions and assist them in filling
out an intention form to the campaign.
Receive comprehensive campaign training.
Attend meetings at to learn about the progress of the campaign and report on the status of
your visits.
The campaign is an extraordinary opportunity for all parishioners to play a role in strengthening
the Catholic Church in western Washington. The campaign will focus on raising $100 million to
strengthen our priest retirement and medical plans, support our women religious and assist our
parishes. Parishioners will be asked to consider making a gift above and beyond their existing
support for their parish and Annual Catholic Appeal.
Archbishop Sartain will call on the entire Archdiocese to make a gift to the Called to Serve as
Christ campaign. Your support to this campaign will impact the future of the Archdiocese of
Seattle for years to come.
If you feel called to volunteer to help our parish in this landmark effort, please contact
Brian Grossman, PAA and he can provide you additional details.
