FROM THE VICAR’S DESK Beloved ones in Christ, Loving Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ The Bible portrays Jesus life in many dimensions. One of the best expressions we see in Jesus’ life is his excellence in teaching. Teaching, Preaching and Healing were his threefold ministry. Being a teacher, Jesus was always a role model to his disciples. Jesus has all the qualities to be called a master teacher. Jesus, the master teacher: “Jesus is the master of all teachers and teacher of all the masters”. Jesus taught with authority (Mt. 7:28,29). His authority is from above. Jesus, the teacher of truth: Jesus claimed that he is the truth (Jn 14:6). He is the embodiment of truth (Eph. 4:21). Jesus declares that he has come to witness for the truth and he who listens to him, listens to the truth. (Jn 18:37). The father of our nation Mahatma Gandhiji said: “My life is my message”. Jesus the master teacher practiced what he preached and taught. Let us look to the life of our master teacher and follow his footsteps with an exemplary life.
“Teach me, my God and King, In all things Thee to see, And what I do in anything, To do it as for Thee!” Amen.
May God bless us. With love, Rev. Sojee Vergis John
