All Saints Day will be celebrated by Catholics worldwide on November 1st. Here at Holy Trinity, Masses will be celebrated on TUESDAY at 5:30 PM, and on WEDNESDAY at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:15 PM, 5:30 PM and (in Spanish) at 7:00 PM.

Canonized (officially listed) saints [holy ones] are ordinary, deceased men, women and children, who did extraordinary things because they cooperated with the unique gifts God gave them. Their lives have been investigated and declared heroic and worthy of imitation. We believe they are alive and perfectly happy in Gods Presence (Heaven). All Souls Day, November 2nd, is not a Holy Day. Mass will be celebrated as usual at 9:00 AM, 5:30 PM, and 7:00 PM in Spanish. At the entrance of the church there are special All Souls envelopes to be kept on the altar during the month of November. You may list the names of family and friends you would like remembered in prayer. * * * * * * * *

Weekdays in Our Church From Monday through Saturday, in the middle aisle of our church, there is a black binder, entitled Putting a Face on the Name. It contains a full-page (non-sentimental) reproduction of a painting or photo of the saint, memorialized each day of the month. Each faces a mini-biography, edited from Saint of the Day by the noted theologian, Father Richard McBrien. Check it out! Show the kids! Holy Trinity Hurricane Relief Collection

Wishing to help with ongoing relief efforts, many parishioners have asked if Holy Trinity would have a collection to aid the victims of the recent hurricane and natural disasters. Today we are taking up that collection, which we will present to the Archdiocese in your name. Special Disaster Relief envelopes are available at the entrance of the church.

Twenty Years And Counting! The CRC Contemporary Roman Catholics is unique among faith-based organizations, or most other organizations even. It is not a singles group. It is not a young marrieds group. It is not an over-40s or sports or culinary or spiritual retreat or trips-and-outings group. Rather it is all of these! The CRC will celebrate its 20th Anniversary this Saturday, Nov. 4th, with Mass at 11:00 AM, followed by brunch in the Murphy Center. Celebrants for this special day will be Msgr. Leonard, Msgr. Sandi, Fr. Gary Mead, Fr. Koterski, Fr. Andrew OConnor, and Msgr. John Cervini. A few years ago we joined with Ascension Church on 107th, scheduling the sleepover for Saturday and Sunday nights and moving to Ascension where their facilities can provide shelter for up to 20 homeless men.
