Class Cancellations CMAA may cancel class in the event of bad weather. We will follow LPSS School closures. We will send out an email, text message and update our Facebook page. Please check all outlets for the most timely and accurate information. Withdrawing Enrollment or Changes to Account If you decide to cancel a membership before your contract expires, we must be notified 14-days prior to the scheduled payment date. Any withdrawal forms received later than the 2-week period will be subject to the following month’s tuition payment. All withdrawals must be completed by filling out a Cancellation/Hold Form. A cancellation fee of $250 will be applied if you cancel before your agreement expires. There are no refunds for early cancellation. No withdrawal requests made to staff verbally of CMAA are considered appropriate or applicable. Parent Observation/ Lobby Expectations Parents are not allowed to enter the Dojo at any time during class hours unless invited by the Instructor. We have windows in the lobby that will allow you to watch the class. Please be considerate of other Parents and Students while in the lobby. Please refrain from using profanity. Horseplay, running, loud talking and dangerous play are not permitted. Children must be supervised at all times. Behavior Policy All students are expected to bow each time they enter and leave the Dojo. Students are to enter class on time, be dressed in the appropriate attire and have used the restroom prior to class. Shoes and bags are to be left in the appropriate area. Never obstruct the walkways and training areas. These rules are meant to maintain certain standards that we believe contribute to the overall atmosphere of our school. This will help us eliminate unnecessary distractions that prevent other students from learning and training. Unacceptable and distracting behavior, inconsistent attendance, and negative unreported comments are considered behaviors that weaken our school’s positive atmosphere.

Tigers program This program is for students under the age of 9. It helps adjust children to the discipline and protocol of our Martial Arts Academy. All skills and promotions are based on class attendance, participation and course

completion. Our primary objective is to get the students involved, building their confidence, having them give 100% effort and to have fun.

BENEFITS OF THE TIGERS PROGRAM: ➢ Learning Self Defense ➢ Achieving Self Discipline and Confidence ➢ Knowing Stranger Danger and Awareness ➢ Understanding Commitment and Cooperation

American Shotokan Karate Program In this class we teach a realistic, self-defense system that combines the most effective karate, kickboxing and grappling techniques, so students learn to defend themselves in virtually any situation, whether they are standing up or end up on the ground.

BENEFITS OF THE JUNIORS PROGRAM:

❖ Young Adults who learn self-defense become more assertive and less aggressive. ❖ Young Adults who practice martial arts, carry themselves in a more confident manner. ❖ Students develop a healthy mind and body, so they have the energy and fitness to face

life’s challenges, and succeed.
