Dear Parents:
This week some of our students travelled to distant sites while others remained in Ma-
nila. Regardless of where the students went, they all parcipated in acvies that ex-
posed them to the life of local Filipino communies. Through their CWW experience we
hope your child has developed a deeper appreciaon of the diversity of peoples experi-
ences and will be movated to more acvely support others in need and parcipate in
service learning opportunies. We also hope that your child returns home with a strong-
er sense of self-awareness and how they can connue to grow as independent, responsi-
ble adolescents. Please take some me to engage your child and discuss ways that yourchild can build on the experience. Its important that the learning does not end with the
conclusion of the CWW week but that the spirit of service connues to be nurtured. We
thank all the teachers for their dedicaon and eorts to provide a range of enriching ex-
