Introduction• Structures are used to represent the real
world entities and their relations
• They form the basis for the imbalance
settlement
• Market participants are responsible for
maintaining part of their own structures via
Online Service
• Inform eSett when you have gone through
all information related to your market
participant role
– When everything is ok Status
verified
• Deadline for structure verification – week 8
– After the DL all market participants
have verified their structures as
correct
• If you notice incorrect structures that are
owned by some other market participant,
please contact primarily the owner,
secondary eSett, to correct the information

Company and market party details – details can be updated in Online Service -> 13.4-13.5, for other inquiries -

Regulation Object(s) -> create a service request to eSett
Production Unit - Regulation Object relation(s) – correct in Online Service -> 8.3.8
Bilateral Trade market entity connection(s) – correct in Online Service -> 3.1.4 – 3.1.6 and in Sweden -> create a
service request to eSett
Consumption market entity connection(s) -> check RBR and contact the respective DSO to create it
Production market entity connection(s) -> check RBR, PU and contact the respective DSO to create it
PX Trading market entity connection(s) -> create a service request to eSett

– Trades are on RE-level
– Multiple trades may exist for combination of
BRPs and MBA with different Agreement ID
• Created and maintained by SvK in Sweden
– Trades are on BRP-level and only one trade
with certain BRP combination can exist
within MBA Agreement ID is always one

• Precondition for creation/existence
– At least one RBR for consumption within the
MBA (=MGA of RBR belongs to MBA)
determined in the trade for both counterparts
of the trade (BRP/RE)
• For trades on RE-level, they must be
unique taking into account BRPs, MBAs

– Capacity should be 1 MW or over in Finland
and 3 MW or over in Norway
– All units in Sweden have type Normal
• If type is Minor
– RBR for consumption must exist (for the RE)
in MGA where PU is located
– Capacity should be less than 1 MW in
Finland and less than 3 MW in Norway

• MGA imbalance retailers are managed by DSOs
• Each MGA must have imbalance retailer assigned
• Retailer Balance Responsibility is a precondition
– The retailer is responsible for MGA imbalance, which will be settled in the consumption imbalance of the BRP

Gate closures
• Special and temporary gate closures for structural changes has been defined for Parallel settlement
• Gate closures have been shortened in order to enable faster structure completion time
– Biggest change in Retailer Balance Responsibility (from current 14 days to only 5 days)
• Gate closures defined in Handbook will be used in Go-Live
