May Birthdays
Happy birthday to Geoff, Reg and Jim.
Previous Month Highlights – April
On the 6th of April we held a Younique Make-up beauty shop hosted by Mishi. Many of
our residents, their families and staff enjoyed this activity. This was held in conjunction
with Gery’s 60th surprise birthday.
On Wednesday the 12th of April was the residents Easter Luncheon. Thank you to Tony
and Partners for the beautiful spread. Everyone had a great time and so much work goes
into plan this special day so I would like to thank everyone for their help. Tita and Max
won the Easter Bonnet parade. Thank you also to the craft group for their Easter
Themed decorations.
Anzac Day was acknowledged on Tuesday the 25th with Jim proudly raising the flag while
the formalities progressed. Morning tea was enjoyed outside as the sun shone brightly.
Family members joined in and the staff assembled outside to “raise our glass” for the
Diggers. Many thanks to Bill for reciting The Ode and for Betty’s singing. Poppies and
rosemary were worn by everyone.
Comments and Complaints
Does everyone know that if you have a problem you CAN do something about it?
The Helping Us to Care Brochures is located at the Kesters notice board which is at the
Kesters Road entrance of Our Home.
There are also some located in the Ceafield Wing both near the notice board and on the
bookcase. You can also always ask one of our friendly staff if you cannot find them.
Feedback is an integral part of improving the home and providing the highest quality of care
to all residents.
All issues are treated as confidential and we endeavour to sort out any problems in a timely
manner.
