Ionising Radiation and the Sterilisation of Medical Products: Proceedings of the First International Symposium organised by the Panel on Gamma and Electron Irradiation. A Young Fabian Group, consisting of two medical practitioners and a psychologist, puts forward some sug- gestions for improvement. They regard domiciliary care, the personal doctor, and 24-hour cover as the three essential features of general practice which must be retained; but they support the suggestion for a regional health services centre which would integrate the work of the regional hospital board, the local health authorities, and the local executive councils.
