Final Arrangements Entrusted To

Our Grandmother, Rosie Boyd

Our grandmother was a remarkable woman

A wonderful combination of

Warmth, kindness, laughter, and love

She overlooked our faults,

Encouraged our dreams,

And praised our success.

Our grandmother embodied the wisdom

Of a teacher, and the tenderness of a mother.

We admired, respected, and loved her very much.

Our grandmother taught us to see

That God sends miracles our way

And to trust that God has a plan.

She said we may not always get the wishes we make.

It’s maybe in those times God’s answer is, “Just wait.”

We are so grateful to God for blessing us

With a grandmother like you

Who lived life on purpose—

Bold and true.

We love you, Grandma.

To God be the GLORY!!!
