Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are glad to present the RHYTHM 2013 scientific program, dedicated to Arrhythmias & Heart Failure: New Insights & Technological Advances. In order to offer the best education to an always larger audience, the program’s architecture of the medical sessions have been refined and divided into two parts:- As in previous editions, international attendees will be welcome for two days of interactive education in English with conferences, live and video cases. Friday May 31 will be dedicated to Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), offering a deep analysis of AF perpetuation mechanisms and new tools such as MRI or high density mapping High level conferences. Video cases will accurately illustrate these latest advances in ablation strategies, mapping systems and catheters now available. Saturday June 1 will start with the imaging session followed by conferences on technical devices’ innovations and new antithrombotic treatments. To conclude this educational program, the free papers session on Saturday afternoon will allow physicians to present their work.

- For the second time, French speaking cardiologists and young rhythmologists will benefit from a specific educational program in French through a satellite session held on Saturday afternoon.

Paramedical education is also enlightened in this program with the French paramedical course on Saturday dedicated to update theoretical knowledge and daily practices.Looking forward to meeting you and your team in May, for two convivial days of fruitful teaching in the beautiful congress center of Palais du Pharo in Marseille.
