About the author
meet dr ben garrod Dr Ben Garrod is an evolutionary biologist, which means he studies how different animals change over time. He has worked worldwide with chimpanzees, whales and sharks.
As a child growing up by the sea he fell in love with nature. He found his first fossil when he was very small and has loved dinosaurs ever since.
Ben is a TV presenter and a Teaching Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.
