‘In today’s corporate world where management is faced with challenges and uncertainties while striving to grow stakeholders’ value, an LLM will enhance

Focus on...The University of London International Programmes draws on the academic expertise found within its constituent Colleges.

Undergraduate Laws ProgrammeOur Undergraduate Laws Programme is governed academically by the six Colleges of the University of London that have law schools – Birkbeck, King’s College, LSE, Queen Mary, SOAS and UCL. We have more than 19,000 LLB students worldwide and a distinguished array of past students, including Nelson Mandela and Judge Christopher Weeramantry, who served on the International Court of Justice from 1991-2000.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) LSE provides academic direction for undergraduate courses in economics, management, finance and the social sciences (EMFSS). LSE is regarded as an international centre of academic excellence and innovation in the social sciences. Among its alumni are 16 Nobel Prize winners and some 34 past or present heads of state.

Royal Holloway, University of LondonEstablished in 1886, Royal Holloway has an excellent reputation for teaching and research. School of Management staff – who provide academic direction for our BSc Business Administration and MBA International Management programmes – have extensive experience in running business and management development courses for international companies.

Five reasons you can rely on a University of London degree studied through the University of London International Programmes:

1. All our programmes are developed and approved by the Colleges of the University of London, using the same quality processes as for the programmes studied at that College on campus.

2. The standards and quality of study materials and examinations are the responsibility of the Colleges of the University of London.

3. There are Independent External Examiners for every programme. Their role is to ensure students have been assessed to the appropriate standard and that the UK’s overall national academic standards have been met.

4. Our standards are consistent. We do not reduce the pass mark of exams in order to increase the number who succeed in our examinations.

5. The University of London International Programmes is regularly audited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), an independent body which safeguards the standards and quality of UK higher education. Following an institutional audit of the University of London International Programmes in May 2011, the highest judgement of ‘confidence’ was delivered by the QAA.

increases their chances of gaining sought-after jobs and gives them a headstart if they plan to take their career abroad. Our graduates gain jobs in a range of industries including finance, law and health, as well as at international NGOs and aid organisations.

We have promoted him to Senior Financial Consultant.

We have hired two more graduates from University of London International Programmes who have not only demonstrated their exceptional skills, but also through their achievements have proven to be an asset for my organisation.

These graduates are highly ambitious and competitive. They possess a certain level of maturity, willingness to learn, independence and street smartness. I always believe that a professional needs a full range of skills apart from technical proficiency. In today’s diverse and vibrant working environment we need people who can cope with different situations at the same time and are not just limited to what they have learned. This special blend of University of London graduates from RCI has provided us with the very best of employees.’

Study optionsHow we work with recognised centres

By independent studyStudents who prefer the flexibility of

studying independently can complete their programme using our study materials

and a range of web-based resources that include online tutorial support and online seminars for some programmes.

We aim to give students as much choice as possible about how, when and where they study.

Some of our students prefer the flexibility of being able to study independently at their own pace. Others prefer face-to-face teaching and classroom support at one of about 70 independent teaching institutions worldwide. Whichever study option they choose, students are sent relevant study materials and have access to a range of online resources.

International Programmes students: study options

With local teaching supportFor many undergraduate programmes

(and some postgraduate), students who prefer the benefits of face-to-face teaching can choose to pay for

additional educational support.

A network of about 70 independent teaching institutions worldwide are formally recognised by the University of London.

Known as recognised centres, these organisations provide tuition to students who choose to access additional tutor support.

There are two categories of recognised centres: Affiliate and Registered. Affiliate is the highest status. We monitor the quality of our recognised centres through a number of mechanisms including annual monitoring and regular periodic review visits by University of London academic staff.

Affiliate Centres have demonstrated a sustained commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching, support and administration for our students.

Registered Centres have demonstrated acceptable standards of teaching, support and administration for our students.
